BEFORE TREATMENT ADVICE:
- You must fast (not eat anything) for 6 hours before your treatment – only drink water.
- Avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine for 48 hours. These substances can dehydrate the body and increase bruising.
- Minimize direct sun exposure and avoid tanning beds for a week prior to your treatment.
- Drink 2 ltrs water a day for 1 week before treatment.
- If you are using blood thinners, speak to your medical provider about whether they recommend pausing them prior to treatment.
- On the day of your treatment, keep the skin clean and free of any lotions or perfumes.
- Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the injected area for 24 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours, to prevent migration of the injected solution.
- Avoid hot baths/saunas for 48 hours after treatment.
- Avoid sun/tanning beds for 2 weeks and use a SPF 30/50.
- Stay hydrated and drink 2ltr of water, your urine may be a yellow colour due to the B vitamins in the solution. This is normal and temporary.
- Attend follow up appointments for optimal results, and follow a healthy diet and lifestyle to maintain your results.
